Reflect
There were many times during my process when I had to step back and analyze my artwork. I wanted my artwork to reflect the future in a way so that it I would also be a feel of the things that we had before. I think a coffee shop would have been a good idea because we can still have coffee in the future. Reflecting on my artwork helped my art process because, I was able to see the blending technique that I had been working on. There were many times when I had step back so that I could actually look at my blending technique and make sure that all my colors were flowing correctly. What I discovered about my artwork during my process was that, when blending, I should probably start of coloring my base color then go back with a darker color of that same color so that I can get the right shade that I want. Stretch and explore I always try to practice new ideas and techniques when working with art. In this particular piece I have been practicing with blending so it made things better for me because I got to further practice with this art piece. The blending process worked out for me because, like I said before I got more practice with this technique and I think I improved a lot when working with blending. I think the blending process worked out well for me in this case because being that I got more practice I think it was easier for me do it because I kind of already had an idea of what I was doing. I did not pick a material or a technique that was new of different because for one I wanted to keep it simple with project and for two I wanted to improve on my blending technique. Express I always want people to look at my artwork and see something or get a idea of there own. This art piece is intended to say that even in the future we can still uphold and have the same items, objects and things that we had once before. Issues that we are examining through my artwork include, what will the future be like if we did not have these items and these things that we have today. Being that we use so many things today we have a idea in our head that we can't live without the things that we have. This artwork relates to me in a sense that I like coffee so I thought it would be a good idea to create something that. I enjoy coffee and everything little and big thing about from the smell, the look, the taste, and the feeling.

Renewable Power
1.) I think renewable power is a needed source for the future. We use an excessive amount of energy and power today with all the technology that we have. I think there will become a time when we will need a backup plan and I think a renewable power source will be the way to go. 2.) With a renewable power source there can be many ways to communicate with family and friends. With solar electricity we can create telephones so that people can communicate when they are not around each other. This can be done by the sun converting into electrical power or energy. 3.) We also have to have a way to get around. There are ways to create forms of transportation. One includes creating a solar, which by the way has already been made. A solar car uses the sun energy and converts it to the electricity that is needed for the car. 4.) I believe that world peace and equality can come about if we create renewable power sources. I think everyone will figure out a new way of life and it can bring everyone together because, with creating a new way of life more people will become involved in the process and transition. 1.) This art piece took a lot of thinking due to the fact that I did not know what direction I wanted to go in during this process. This work of art is intended to say that taking a plain cup can become something that symbolizes something great. I took the basic cup and turned it into a carriage. I thought a carriage would be a good idea because, in my opinion, a carriage represents beauty and taking risks. The beauty reminds me of the Cinderella when she was transformed into a princess that night and she felt beautiful and like nothing could bring her down. 2.) There were many issues that I experienced through this process. One of these issues included, not knowing exactly what I wanted to create in the beginning. I wanted this art piece to be something simple but yet represented a lot. To me this art piece represents beauty due to the fact that whenever someone refers to a carriage it is like people are dressed up and going out for fun. 3.) This art piece does represent the things that I like. I do like carriages because, like I said before, I feel as though they represent fun and just dressing up and having a good time. I like how this piece came out because I really wanted it to represent something that I like. Envision 1.) I used a lot of my own unique ideas in this art piece. I wanted to do a carriage as my main idea but the base for the project was all me. I wanted this art piece to pop and there to be more personality in it. I felt like the art piece was kind of bland without a color for the base. 2.) I used the carriage, which I got that idea from the movie Cinderella , and my idea of adding jewels and a gold base. Like I said before I wanted the color in the background to be something that was going to make the project pop. 3.) My ideas happened intentionally due to the fact that I already had an idea of what I wanted to build. I wanted this art piece to be something that people have seen before, because this piece has been done many times, but I wanted people to see a small way of how I do. Reflect 1.) I stepped back and analyzed my project many times due to the fact I did not know how this would come out. At first, I did not know exactly how I wanted the idea of the carriage to be portrayed. Usually, a carriage is portrayed with the idea of a princess and I ended up with that same idea. 2.) Reflecting my work helped my art process because, with me stepping back a few times I notice many things. For one I notice that I wanted my base to reflect the idea of a carriage. I went for a more girly type theme and I wanted every aspect of this art piece to reflect it. 3.) What I discovered about my self and my art during this reflection is that, I want my art to be received the exact same way as I created it. I want people to see the beauty side of things as far this art piece goes. |
